Keeping the same amount of windows open, suspending then resuming, the

significantly.

This game worked almost flawlessly with wine 1.3.20 and mesa master of that
time. Then I upgraded wine to 1.3.28, and the game started to crash immediately
before starting a loaded savegame. Now with 1.3.30 it loads up, but renders
garbage. Unfortunately, along the wine upgrades I also upgraded mesa, so I
cannot really tell which component is the culprit.
All I could find out is that with wine 1.3.30 and mesa 7.10.3 the loading stops
at the last stage (CLIENT: synchronizing...) with this:

After starting the game and watching the menu for ~10 secs the screen goes
black, and even the magic sysreq doesn't work. Both wine and mesa prints tons
of error messages to the console, but I couldn't yet capture it.
With -dxlevel 80 and 81 it doesn't crash, but runs with lots of rendering
errors (lighting and water are messed up). I can't tell if it's wine's fault
or mesa's.
I'm using wine 1.3.15 and mesa from git.

Summary: [mesa] black window when running glxgears after resume
from suspend on ATI Radeon X800 SE
Product: Mesa
Version: 7.10
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/Gallium/r300
AssignedTo: dri-devel(a)lists.freedesktop.org
ReportedBy: jfrieben(a)hotmail.com
Description of problem:
When running glxgears after resume from suspend on a system equipped with an
ATI Radeon X800 SE (R430), all I get is a black window. Moreover, it does not
react to keyboard input, namely pressing <ESC>. The application windows just
stays there, even after pressing <ctrl-C> in the terminal window from which it
had been launched.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mesa-7.10-0.29.fc15
How reproducible:
Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run glxgears.
2. Suspend and resume.
3. Run glxgears.
Actual results:
Application window is black and does not respond to keyboard input.
Expected results:
Application window shows turning gears.
Additional info:
* Vendor bug reference https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=643700
* This issue is -critical- for GNOME3 which is using a GL based desktop
environment. In this case, the desktop is -frozen- after resume from suspend
making the system unusable. Only the mouse pointer can be moved. The system
needs to be rebooted or switched to a non-accelerated window manager like
metacity.
* Upgrading to mesa-7.11-0.20110315.0.fc16 has no effect.
* Issue is absent for driver R300 TCL DRI2.
* Installed packages include:
- kernel-2.6.38-1.fc15
- libdrm-2.4.24-1.fc15
- xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.14.0-7.20110316gitcdfc007ec.fc15
- xorg-x11-server-1.10.0-4.fc15

As to be seen on the second series of pictures (the purple guy), the bloom's (or blur or whatever the correct technical term is) position is wrong. it seems to
be shifted down left.

r300g has some texture artifacts not there on r600g nor llvmpipe.
Since the texture coords are calculated in the vertex shader, it's possible the
bug is in the interpolation?
