radeon testing

I've gathered up the various outstanding radeon patches and put them up in a tree for testing: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux/log/?h=drm-next-3.7-wip Some of these may end up in -fixes, but most of them are -next material. I tried to make a simple example but couldn't, so uploading an apitrace of the bigger app and screenshots. The apitrace is 60mb XZ-compressed, that's why the need to use a third-party service - upload limits here. This shader: void main() { gl_FragColor = vec4(gl_FragCoord.xy / vec2(640, 480), 0.0, 0.0); } should always create values from 0 to 1 in a window of that size. In the apitrace the only difference is that the size is passed in an uniform. This bug happens on both r600g and llvmpipe. I didn't have the patience to wait for softpipe to render it. I don't have anything else on this machine to compare to (swrast, blobs). [PATCH] fbcon: fix race condition between console lock and cursor timer

So we've had a fair few reports of fbcon handover breakage between efi/vesafb and i915 surface recently, so I dedicated a couple of days to finding the problem. Essentially the last thing we saw was the conflicting framebuffer message and that was all. So after much tracing with direct netconsole writes (printks under console_lock not so useful), I think I found the race. Thread A (driver load) Thread B (timer thread) unbind_con_driver -> | bind_con_driver -> | vc->vc_sw->con_deinit -> | fbcon_deinit -> | console_lock() | | | | fbcon_flashcursor timer fires | console_lock() <- blocked for A | | fbcon_del_cursor_timer -> del_timer_sync (BOOM) Of course because all of this is under the console lock, we never see anything, also since we also just unbound the active console guess what we never see anything. Hopefully this fixes the problem for anyone seeing vesafb->kms driver handoff. Hi Dave, Nothing too major: - A few fixes around the edid handling from Jani, also fixing a regression in 3.5 due to us using gmbus by default. - Fixup hsw uncached pte flags. - Fix suspend/resume crash when using hw contexts, from Ben. - Try to tune gpu turbo a bit better, seems to help with some oddball power regressions. Also nothing major outstanding afaik.
