I'm writing this on the exact same machine, but I've never seen such issues.
I recommend updating the BIOS to the current version, that resolved https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/issues/1146 for me (BIOS version 1.16 currently).
If the problem persists with that, a hardware issue does seem plausible.
