--- Comment #1 from Alex Deucher agd5f@yahoo.com 2011-10-07 08:59:22 PDT --- If you are getting HPD interrupts, radeon_hotplug_work_func() should be getting scheduled. From there drm_helper_hpd_irq_event() gets called which actually generates the uevent.
