I've read a lot about tvrgb here, what is about YCbCr. My Tv for example produces a better picture with this space compared to limited RGB.
If you set your TV to use YUV and set output_csc to ycbcr601 or ycbcr709, it may work. Depending on your display, you may also have to adjust the hdmi packets the driver sends.
