Thanks ! However, it seems that not all is well, after all: using vm_update_mode=3 have resulted in immediate 'RIP: 0010:amdgpu_vm_update_directories+0xe7/0x260' dereference hang before sddm could draw anything, so the second one is not fixed yet. Will use vm_update_mode=0 for now to make sure that offending code is never touched.
