You should try one of gentoo's stable kernel packages.  If it still doesn't
work, then file a bug with gentoo.

It looks like you might not have specified the correct video card when building
your X.Org packages.  You should search gentoo documentation for the correct
way to do this, but I think it's something like adding:

export VIDEO_CARDS="radeon radeonsi"

to your make.conf
