P.S. Cesko, if you could change the title of this report to something like '[drm:radeon_get_bios] *ERROR* Unable to locate a BIOS ROM', that might help prevent others from incorrectly considering this report related to their problem.

Done! And perhaps it should also be pointed out that my specific problem was that the driver indeed could not locate the BIOS ROM *while my Intel iGPU was set as primary in the BIOS*. Perhaps that might have been a relevant factor.
