I have a Utilite Pro PC that uses the "Freescale i.MX 6 Quad". I am running Linux kernel 4.11.8

I would like to see at least 2D support so that I could see a framebuffer console. Is this possible yet with the above gpu hardware?
I am hoping that there is some quick fix for the "command buffer outside valid memory window" so that I can at least get some of it working.
