I believe I have this issue. The screen turns off after grub. Hardware: 27 inch imac, late 2009 radeon hd 4850 core i7 I'm trying to put the latest fedora 23 on it. I'm not overwhelmingly sure about the details beyond that. I'm relatively new to linux, so if anyone wants me to try anything it would take a bit of hand holding.
