Hi Andrey, sorry for the late reply, I applied the patches and built it as you
guys wanted. Could something to do with the crash be causing the log file to be
incomplete?

I think the system is pretty unstable after the crash. Apart from all
input/output on the desktop going away, I also can't 'reboot' or 'shutdown -h
now' (I have to do REISUB). Perhaps something there is affecting the logging?

Anything else you could think of that I can try on my end?
