Hello Mr. Deucher, hello d4ddi0; sorry for not responding, unfortunately I can only test it on this weekend, sorry for polluting maillist with my ego status.
As I mentioned in a previous comment, this patch won't affect your system. RS600 chips don't support sideport memory and they use a different code path in the driver to configure the memory controller. Please use bug 35998.
