[Bug 41659] Weird unit rendering on SpringRTS

so regression introduced between 7.10.3 and 7.11.

With 7.10.3 there are some minor corruption like vertical lines on the left and grey square under the cursor but nothing major (screenshot3). I suspect I will file a bug for these after this bug.
