Even with the latest patch applied
(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=97193) the problem still
occurs.

The system does recover from the reset faster than before though - suspends and
resumes in a few seconds now, whereas earlier it would take a few tens of
seconds to snap out of the reset cycle.
