I have the same problem with the Radeon HD 7770.
I have the same problem with the Radeon HD 7770. This also happens with the amdgpu and radeonsi drivers. It enters the S1 mode (although in the BIOS I specified to use only S3) and does not exit it. With the old videocard, the 8600GT with nouveau entered S3 mode and exited normally.
