Thanks for finding the correct solution. I can confirm that the patch for uvd6 works. The one for uvd7 also looks good, but I don't have the hardware to test it. Furthermore, I think vcn also needs a similar change. I'm not sure about vce, as that uses 'ib_size_dw = 1024' thus allocating a much larger buffer.
