Did you configure Mesa with --enable-r600-llvm-compiler? Without that, R600_LLVM=1 has no effect.

Yes it is. It's just that I was under the impression something had been changed about how to use the LLVM backend.

I should have asked: does R600_LLVM=1 have any effect on the radeon_si driver? I'm not using the same video card as before and the driver is not the r600g one anymore.
