Comment # 12 on bug 73053 from Matt Novenstern

I built a patched version of the 3.13rc7 kernel using the source from the
fedora rawhide-nodebug repo, using the patch provided.  I was able to boot to a
desktop and use it for a handful of seconds and then it froze/blanked the
screen as usual.
