--- Comment #3 from Chris Wilson chris@chris-wilson.co.uk --- Fwiw, a few years ago, dlopen("libGL.so") took on the order of a second on a laptop HDD, which could be eliminated by prelinking. It might worth checking the exported symbol tables (objdump -T ?) to see if they are unnecessarily cumbersome.
