You might try removing this chunk of code in radeon_atom_mode_fixup() in atombios_encoders.c

Thanks, but it doesn't make any difference.

To slightly correct what I said earlier when describing what I see -

at 1920x1080i the right quarter of the bottom line is rendering repeated x4 as the top line.
