The interesting thing is that when I disable vsync (and I'm sure that the option has effect as I see the "tearing" while watching videos) the FPS doesn't go beyond 60 (3.0 kernel). There is like a wall that can't be overtaken.
What exactly does 'disable vsync' mean here? Is this still with page flipping and SwapBuffersWait disabled?
I'm not setting vblank_mode=0 but I'm setting SwapBuffersWait and PageFlipping to false (I disabled even the vsync option in kde desktop effects settings)
