--- Comment #39 from shibe@tuta.io --- I booted the stock kernel with nosmp few times. One time - gray, other times - black. I wonder if the initialization code could be preempted and the race still occurs on a single CPU. Otherwise, it may be a race with GPU. Maybe need to wait for a previous command to complete.
