Comment # 9 on bug 107855 from Pontus Gråskæg

Just to be clear, booting with kernel 4.19rc2 does indeed remove the "*ERROR*
VCE not responding, giving up!!!" and associated messages. So that can be
marked solved (I think).
However, there is still a regression in behaviour, but I'll raise a separate
bug for that, as it appears to be a different issue.
