Comment # 22 on bug 76130 from Thaddaeus Tintenfisch

I was able to resolve the FPS drop by running the following two commands:

echo battery > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_state
echo balanced > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_state
