Alex marked my bug (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=78321) as a duplicate. And my solution is to disable the hdmi audio output. You can do this by appending radeon.audio=0 to the kernel parameters or just blacklist the snd_hda_intel and the snd_hda_codec_hdmi modules.
