If you wish, you can try switching to radeon and:

1. Start playback
2. Make sure speed is still wrong
3. Execute: "avivotool regset 0x05b0 0x000ea600"
4. Execute: "avivotool regset 0x05bc 0x00000072"

Does it help?

Unfortunately not. First line speeds it up (way to much) and the second one brings it down into too slow territory again.
