It seems that problems exists more early (it is why commit 29ff2e907d6c54f95be6dfa72201fd25bbd50fcd was marked as bad), but with sb it mach easy to reproduce. Enabling sb with mesa-9.2.5 makes it behavior with uvd similar to current current git (looping almost immediately, but not sure about gpu hangups).
