Had some time to test kernels 4.14.4 and 4.15-rc2. Sadly nothing new concerning this issue.

yes nothing change , mee to continue dont have gpu accelerations on r600 .... but on ppc world look like the emb are not effected .

I wonder if you still can reproduce this bug on current 4.17.x or 4.18.x kernels? I've not had issues ever since. IMHO this bug could be closed.
