This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
drm/dp/mst: Export drm_dp_get_vc_payload_bw()
to the 5.10-stable tree which can be found at: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summ...
The filename of the patch is: drm-dp-mst-export-drm_dp_get_vc_payload_bw.patch and it can be found in the queue-5.10 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree, please let stable@vger.kernel.org know about it.

This function will be needed by the next patch where the driver calculates the BW based on driver specific parameters, so export it.
At the same time sanitize the function params, passing the more natural link rate instead of the encoding of the same rate.
