Created attachment 55665 [details] dmesg
There's no trace of the radeon kernel module being loaded. Does the kernel have the fix from bug 43739?

--- Comment #6 from Andreas Boll andreas.boll.dev@gmail.com --- Is this still an issue with a newer driver/kernel?

--- Comment #7 from Philippe Leblanc philippe.l@live.com --- I have an E2-1800 but it doesn't appear to be detected as a Wrestler.
glxinfo yields:
OpenGL vendor string: X.Org OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD PALM OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 9.1 OpenGL shading language version string: 1.30
I'm using Mageia Linux Cauldron with kernel 3.8 and radeon driver 7.1. Is this chipset detected correctly? I'm using gnome 3 and UI performance and fluidity is just underwhelming for a GPU of this class. I'm wondering if its been detected and configured correctly by the driver.

It is working correctly. PALM is code name for wrestler.

--- Comment #9 from Christopher M. Penalver christopher.m.penalver@gmail.com --- samit vats, Ubuntu 11.10 reached EOL on May 9, 2013. For more on this, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases.
If this is reproducible in a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal: ubuntu-bug xorg
