When playing back a live TV stream using xbmc and tvheadend I immediately get a GPU hang. relevant dmesg attached. 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Trinity [Radeon HD 7480D]
Anything more I could do, please tell me.

Just updated to mesa 10.3.5 and linux-3.18.1. Still the same.

Not sure if the latest XBMC has this option or you might have to upgrade to Kodi.

Thanks, did that, works. However, I still think that a userspace program shouldn't be able to hang the GPU so completely as to warrant a reboot.
