Hi all,
this patchset is a next attempt to add the tc358764 driver. The previous one can be found here:

Back then, TC358764 was added as a panel driver.
The bridge is supposed to be a DSI peripheral. Currently exynos_dsi accepts only panels as its peripherals. Therefore, some logic in exynos_dsi had to be ammended. That is implemented in first 4 patches.
Apart from the driver this patchset adds support for BOE HV070WSA-100 panel, which is used by TC358764 and dts nodes to exynos5250.dtsi and exynos5250-arndale.dtsi.

When adding support for peripheral out bridges, the "bridge" name becomes imprecise as it refers to a different device than the "out_bridge".

In order to allow bridge drivers to use DSI transfers in their pre_enable callbacks, pm_runtime_get_sync() should be performed before exynos_dsi_enable(). DSIM_STATE_ENABLED flag now should not guard from calling dsi_host_transfer() before enabling.

The current implementation assumes that the only possible peripheral device for DSIM is a panel. Using an output bridge should also be possible.
If an output bridge in available, don't create a new connector. Instead add bridge to DSIM encdoer in dsi_host_attach().

As DSIM can now have a bridge connected as a peripheral, it should be possible to successfully enable exynos_dsi, when there is no panel provided.

Specs says about 3 supply voltage values: - 1.2V - digital core, DSI-RX PHY - 1.8-3.3V - digital I/O - 3.3V - LVDS-TX PHY
So I guess it should be minimal number of supplies. Natural candidates:
- vddc-supply: core voltage supply, 1.2V - vddio-supply: I/O voltage supply, 1.8V or 3.3V - vddlvds-supply: LVDS1/2 voltage supply, 3.3V
I have changed name of the latest supply to be more consistent with other supplies, and changed 1.8-3.3 (which incorrectly suggest voltage range), to more precise voltage alternative.

So I guess it should be minimal number of supplies. Natural candidates:
- vddc-supply: core voltage supply, 1.2V
- vddio-supply: I/O voltage supply, 1.8V or 3.3V
- vddlvds-supply: LVDS1/2 voltage supply, 3.3V
I have changed name of the latest supply to be more consistent with other supplies, and changed 1.8-3.3 (which incorrectly suggest voltage range), to more precise voltage alternative.
This looks fine to me.

Since the bridge is controlled via DSI bus, DSI input port is not necessary.
I don't agree with this. Regardless of how the bridge is controlled, I think we should always use ports to describe the data connections. Otherwise it would get more complicated for display controller drivers to use different types of bridges.

That's when the child as no other connection at all. I don't think it makes sense to mix description of connections through parent/child relationships and through ports for a single device.
And that being said, I don't agree with Rob's comment there. Having two different methods to describe connections means that you have to implement them both in all display controller drivers (and even all bridge drivers in the case of chained bridges). That's an extra complexity that can easily be avoided by standardizing DT bindings.
I also wonder whether Rob's position hasn't been reconsidered since then; I vaguely recalled another more recent discussion on this topic. I'm a bit too busy now to try and dig it up now I'm afraid :-/

I expected checkpatch to catch that, but I tested it and there was no warning from checkpatch about help text. OTOH, there was a warning that there are 2 lines in this patch that end with whitespace, so that should be fixed.

This should be squashed with previous patch because it is logically the same feature. The purpose of PHY is this DSI node so splitting it is slightly too much.

Please put the node alphabetically, so before &dp.
Also this patch should be squashed with previous one (regulators), because adding non-controllable fixed regulators on its own does not bring benefits. Linux will not disable them. You added these regulators for the bridge below. Without the bridge, their existence does not have much sense.
