Bug ID: 91729 Summary: Graphic Distortions on Knights of the Old Republic with wine Product: Mesa Version: git Hardware: Other OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Drivers/Gallium/r600 Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: EoD@xmw.de QA Contact: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
Created attachment 117868 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=117868&action=edit Screenshot of the bug
When playing Kotor1 with wine there are always distorted outdoor graphics. See http://i.imgur.com/JGxfaDI.jpg and attachment. This has been mentioned on the according wine page https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=4124 and seems only to be related to the radeon driver.
I tried both the "normal" and the D3D9 wine backend with exactly the same issue.
I used wine 1.7.45 with the D3D9 code and current mesa git.

--- Comment #2 from Christoph Brill egore@gmx.de --- Could you please create an apitrace dump using https://github.com/apitrace/apitrace/blob/master/docs/USAGE.markdown and upload it somewhere (e.g. Google drive)?

--- Comment #3 from EoD EoD@xmw.de --- I created an apitrace gl-trace which replays fine on both Intel and AMD on Linux and Windows. Hence suspect it is an issue in wine and not an issue in mesa.
