There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare having a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure. Kernel code should always use "flexible array members" for these cases. The older style of one-element or zero-length arrays should no longer be used. Felix need to comment as well, but I don't think that this will work that easily.
By changing the entry from 1 to 0 your are also changing the size of the structure.

It looks like this structure isn't being used at all. So I'm OK with this change, in case we ever use it in the future.
