Bug ID: 91543 Summary: [BONAIRE] ARK: Survival Evolved: corruption with certain textures inside cave (spider web) Product: Mesa Version: git Hardware: Other OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Drivers/Gallium/radeonsi Assignee: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: shawn.starr@rogers.com QA Contact: dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org
Since I bought the game, I've had some very specific corruption inside the caves in ARK, specifically, when the spiders shoot their web to ensnare you. The problem is, the spider web sometimes shows up, other times, shows up as blacked out, or random colored.
apitrace isn't allowing me to capture the frame(s) that show this corruption.
kernel: 4.2.0-0.rc4.git4.2.fc24.x86_64 Mesa: Git master 2015-08-01 build
The apitrace is here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bze7CJKD12nOdW0waTUweXctSzQ

--- Comment #1 from Shawn Starr shawn.starr@rogers.com --- Here is youtube video of a scene with this happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fJLyyVXSrQ
Sometimes it will turn the whole screen white/pink/black if the spider successfully captures the player.

--- Comment #2 from Shawn Starr shawn.starr@rogers.com --- I am not sure this is Mesa or game/engine related, so keeping this open until I have more info but I'm leaning towards non-Mesa issue

--- Comment #3 from EoD EoD@xmw.de --- Your apitrace does not exist or is not accessible, could you check the link? I would like to check this bug on kernel 4.4 and current git master.
