Hello there, since 18.8.2010 a Heroes of Newerth models started to being rendered as 2D. Some update made in git screwed it. I can post a screenshot if you need to. Effects are working great.

Its no need to log in to check that its working again - before logging in you see characters moving in menu. They are all screwed up as they are rendered as 2D. It worked correctly before

I gave it a try and it was working on both i965 and Gallium3D softpipe prior to the merge of glsl2. This would indicate a general problem with Mesa.
Could you reassign the bug report to component "Mesa core", and perhaps retitle it to something like "[regression] glsl2 merge broke Heroes of Newerth"?
Using MESA_GLSL=log to dump the shaders, there are no compilation errors.
I'm attaching two screenshots showing before and after how the menu looks (the broken one is from i965 in this case).
