resulting in an error message:

Summary: activated KMS leads to complete freeze when viewing
BIG images in Iceweasel
Product: Drivers
Version: 2.5
Kernel Version: 2.6.32-5-686
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Tree: Mainline
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: Video(DRI - non Intel)
AssignedTo: drivers_video-dri(a)kernel-bugs.osdl.org
ReportedBy: spamfang1199(a)yahoo.de
Regression: No
In early versions of 2.6.32 line, my system used to often freeze when I tried
to open big (1,7mb+) images in Iceweasel. Since the kernel got updated, these
freezes seem to have vanished.
But now I can reproduce the freeze every time, when visiting a certain .onion
site and there viewing a certain picture. Therefore I uploaded this very
picture to another pic-hoster and tried to view it there: The machine did NOT
freeze. So it is not the fault of the picture itself. It is the teamwork of
that specific .onion site and that picture.
This bug occurs NOT, if I deactivate KMS.
When the system is frozen, i can ping it, but not SSH into it any more.
Backtraces are very seldom. I only got 4 (see attachment) since the logs
usually show nothing.
I have to add another thing:
With activated KMS the desktop always freezes for a few seconds, when opening
large pictures in Iceweasel, or clicking on the tab which contains this large
picture. It also shows this behaviour, when switching between windows. In
earlier versions of 2.6.32 the system often used to freeze completely at that
moment. Now its only for a few seconds, except I try the mentioned .onion site
with that certain picture.

My Dell M101z with a Radeon HD 4225 fails to resume from suspend when my HDMI
monitor is connected when I run s2ram. If the monitor is connected on resume I
have to run xrandr a couple of times to get video on the monitor again. I also
have to boot with the noapic option in order for resume to work at all.

Savage2 is a free to play (but not opensource) game with native Linux clients,
it renders correctly with llvmpipe and fglrx.
It doesn't render correctly with r600c and r600g. Using latest git version

Screenshot on medium setting
In the game Heroes of Newerth, turning the setting "Shader Quality" to medium
or high results in corrupt rendering of water.
This seems to be a regression from the glsl2 merge, but it seems fine on
llvmpipe, so I'm guessing the bug is specific to r300g.
I _think_ it's possible to reproduce this bug without buying the game, by only
registering and then either starting a practice game or running the tutorial.
If not, I'll see about getting some trial invites.
The rest of the effects in the game seems to be working fine.
