Works fine until screen sleeps, after screen sleeps it will not wake up again. System is still alive as I can ssh in, but I cannot switch VT, and keyboard input seems to cause the GPU fan to spin faster. I also seem unable to kill Xorg via ssh, no matter what I try.

--- Comment #4 from Hin-Tak Leung htl10@users.sourceforge.net --- I seem to have a similar problem. Laptop working fine under fedora 26; since ungraded to fedora 27 a few days ago; when the screen sleeps, it won't wake.
For other reasons I am still using the fedora 26 kernel (4.12.x) - so the problem seems to be entirely due to changes in userland, or at least, outside the kernel, in libdrm or x driver.
Am running gnome classic in x11 if that matters.

Please file your own report, then. The dmesg attached here looks clearly like a DC (or possibly ATOM BIOS) issue.
