[PATCH v2] drm/exynos: modify condition in mixer and hdmi resume

From: Prathyush K <prathyush.k(a)samsung.com> If mixer is runtime suspended (by DPMS OFF), mixer_suspend does not call mixer_poweroff and just returns. Similarily the mixer_resume should not resume the mixer if mixer is runtime_suspended. It should be done through DPMS ON. The existing check is stopping the resume. This issue is fixed by reversing the condiftion. It also holds good for hdmi driver. v2: updated the error messages. [PATCH] gma500: Fix n, m1 and m2 clock limits for sdvo and lvds

The values of n, m1 and m2 needs to be subtracted by 2 before writing them to the FP register. The dot clock calculation already thinks of these values in register form so we must also specify them as such. [PATCH v4 0/9] Add HDMI infoframe helpers

The first three patches are of a janitorial nature. The first removes the duplicate implementation of drm_mode_cea_vic(). The second patch moves the various mode tables from drm_edid_modes.h to drm_edid.c in order to localize them in one source file instead of potentially including the header file in multiple locations and duplicating the tables. The third patch fixes build issues due to some missing forward declarations Patch 4 adds generic helpers to pack a structures that describe HDMI AVI, audio, vendor-specific or SPD infoframes into the binary format specified in the HDMI specification. The resulting binary buffer should be easily programmable into the HDMI controller. Patch 5 provides a helper to fill an HDMI AVI infoframe with data from a struct drm_display_mode. Patch 6 adds the DRM EDID helpers (including the new DRM HDMI helper from patch 5) to the DRM DocBook documentation. Patch 7, 8 and 9 move the Tegra, Intel and Radeon drivers over to the new helpers. Patch 8 was contributed by Intel's Paulo Zanoni. I think Paulo wanted to spin a new version, so maybe the version included in this series shouldn't be applied as-is. Hi Dave, This pull-request includes hdmi mode relevant some improvements, bug fixes and code cleanups. The summary: . Add display mode check operaion to mixer driver - Mixer IP also can put certain restrictions on the proposed display modes and these restrictions need to be considered during mode negotiation, which happens immediately after edid parsing. . Set correct mode for range of resolutions - With this patch, the mixer driver could find the correct mode for the range of resolutions upto 1080 vertical lines. . Support extra resolution for hdmi - This patch programs the core and timing generator registers using the timing data provided in drm_display_mode without hard-coded configurations. So this patch adds additional PHY configs to allow us to support more permissible resolutions and refresh rates. . Add device tree support for g2d - This patch adds just the compatible string for exynos5250 SoC so that with device tree enabling, this driver can be probed. . And bug fixes and code cleanups. And there are two patches not merged yet and being reviewed so I will have pull-request after reviewed enough and adding more device tree supports one more time.
